Kalisi is a Chrome extension that adds to the functionality of Youtube by allowing a group of friends to watch the same video together.

The project consisted of a backend using Ruby on Rails talking to the Chrome browser using websockets via Pusher. The ability to sync across to multiple devices was a challenge. The scope of work included the integration between the web browser and the server, providing a seamless flow for users who want to start using the product immediately. Was responsible for the full development of the product as well as load testing to ensure the system can handle up to 150 concurrent groups.
